My grandmother’s name was Marguerite. When she was a child, her father nicknamed her “Pete”. The rest of her life she was known as “Pete” to everyone. She was my Grandma Pete. She was an amazing woman that loved her family. Her second love was baking. This love was passed down to the next two generations. I started baking when I was eight years old using a Betty Crocker Jr. cookbook that I received for Christmas that year. When my dad would see my mom and I in the kitchen baking, he would call us “RePetes” after my grandma. I decided to turn my love of baking into a business. RePete’s Mixing Bowl is in honor of my grandma Pete that left the legacy of love for family.
